Cute Easter chic or chick as the case may be. I just got my hands on the Cricut “Create A Critter” cartridge and had to bust out a super cutie Easter moment with it. I love the “accessories” on each of the critters. So happy Easter and here is a card created using the “Chick” setting from “Create A Critter” and then I took my trusty fine point sharpie and hand drew on top to make it my own. Enjoy!

I used a plain, boring Easter hat that I found at the Target dollar section and created a vibrant, flower filled, hat that any youngster would be excited to wear this spring. For Valentines Day I created a heart pillow with stitched eyes and cheeks, my daughter. I found the plush heart shaped pillow at the Target dollar section and knew right away what a great surface it would make for a bit of embellishment. I used felt and embroidery floss combined with buttons to create the eyes.
