About Lovely Lula

Lovely Lula is the crafty character of Laboratory5 Inc. About Lovely Lula:
She’s stylish, crafty and forever a tween! Never mind that this thirty something just tipped over to the other side of closer to 40 then 30. In her heart she is forever 13. The desire is for bright citrus colors, skull and cross bones and hearts goes on and on. She makes tons of wearable accessories but not earrings because those just distract from the ever changing hair color. This life long love for accessories can get expensive so Lovely Lula began at an early age to craft. Learning to sew at the tender age of 9 the drive to create grew from there.

About the Lovely Lula Studio
The Lovely Lula Studio is in constant production/creation mode. On any given day one might pop in to find paintings everywhere and then on another day there may be a sewing project filling the joint and on another day a crafty stationery project.

On Fridays however everything is tidied up in the early morn, the tunes are on, the coffee is brewing and the chocolate is at the ready because the Girlfriends are on their way! Friday’s are open studio days for any/all Girlfriends to bring their crafts, hang out and make together.

What to expect from the Lovely Lula posts

Keeping with the tweener spirit is at the core of all things Lovely Lula. For this expect a lot of personality, some funky funk, a bit of the wonky and sometimes a sweet cuteness that just sneaks in. All things can of coarse be adapted for one’s own taste by just changing up the colors, patterns and materials to reflect the maker. Take risks with your changes to projects! Risk taking is good!
