I have been going snow globe crazy this year! I have made several of them and there are more lined up awaiting my attention. I picked up all of the globes at thrift stores and glued them to bases also found at thrift stores. Some of them are ball canning jars. This whole idea was inspired by Anthroplogie check it out HERE, All the little goodies inside came from craft stores, dollar stores and cake decorating stores that I then painted white with craft paint. Love Love Love!

I used the Craft Room Exclusive Cart called Word Bubble to make Coasters. I cut out the bubble shape from some left over pieces of cork that I had previously screen-printed on with the YUDU. I am making a ton of these and packaging them as holiday gifts. Who doesn’t need coasters? Perfect for holiday parties!

I am excited to show this project I made using an new Cricut Cartridge called Snow Days that I paired with vintage holiday wrapping paper.

I first wrapped a plain white box top that I picked up at a paper supply store, with red holiday ribbon to give it more texture. I then used the Snow Days cart to cut a cute little bundled up kid shape out of the vintage paper. I cut several of them and glued them to the box.

I also made a coordinating card because really how could I resist?

I used Scandinavian Christmas Cards Cartridge to create a Scandinavian Christmas Tree Skirt. I used my Cricut and the Scandinavian Christmas Cards Cartridge to cut fabric, that I back with heat and bond. I changed the direction of the reindeer so that I had one facing left and one facing right and in the center I place the holiday tree. I ironed it on to a large piece of ochre yellow wool felt that I cut into two half rounds and sewed together, it closes with pieces of velcro. I finished it off by adding green cotton ribbon to the edge and a few bows. Now I just need all my holiday goodies down from the attic. Where’s the ladder?!

I know I should be putting up a post about Thanksgiving this week but I am just so excited about Christmas this year I am just gonna skip right on over it and get the countdown going! I created the “Days til’ Christmas” sign using the Winter Frolic Cartridge for the font out of silver vinyl and Winter Lace cartridge for the snow flakes out of white paper. The stripes of green paper and the white snow flakes are all Bazzill Basics.

The area to write the days on is a large circle of chalk board vinyl and we’ll count the days down with chalk.
