I love Halloween! Decorating for this favorite of holidays makes me so happy. It’s so fun to do with my little ladies because they like to create little vignettes and stories about Halloween. Here are some highlights from this year.
Halloween wreath made out of tee-shirt yarn with a balsa wood haunted house at the top, covered in hot glue strings to look like spider webs.
I really do love Halloween. We really did it up this year. I think I am definitely turning into one of those ladies who decorates the whole joint inside and out for every holiday. Here are some interior decor shots. Click HERE for more Halloween.
For Halloween this year I made a few cute pillows. The candy corn was a little felt dollar store hat that both my little ladies wore when they were tiny and this year I stuffed it, sewed up the end, added ric rac and just like that a cute little pillow. For the black pillow I sewed together some flower fabric scraps left over from another project and added in a little piece of a ribbon with a skull on it. The Poison pillow was a place-mat that I bought at Target for $2. I used a seam ripper to open one end as it was backed with a second piece of fabric, I stuffed it and then sewed it up. Now I have three cute pillows for Halloween decor.

Inspired by all of the snow globes and terrariums that have been consuming me over the last year I decided to create some Halloween Vitrines. The glass jars and cake covers were found at local thrift stores and the skulls, spiders and Spanish moss all came from dollar stores. I am thrilled how these turned out and it has me thinking about Easter and Valentines Day Vitrines.
