Do you have a stash of your mom’s vintage costume pearls lying around? Freshen them up and give them to her, restyled, for Mothers Day. This restyle project was inspired by a necklace spotted at Anthropologie with a price tag of $78. Make one yourself for just pennies. This is modeled after a collar necklace but with a twist.

Do It Yourself aka DIY is one of the the hottest trend in weddings right now. Why will the Royal wedding inspire DIY? Because inevitably there will be a backlash of all of the glitz and glamor and brides will be looking for a more humble approach. Handi-work and craft based styles are popular even if brides don’t make the pieces themselves, they want the look. Here are some of my favorite DIY wedding inspirations.
All female guests attending the Royal Wedding will be just as fashionable with what goes on their head as what goes on their body. Options include hats, feather clips or tiaras. Here are my options for the viewing day party. A traditional mini hat with netting (store bought), a tiara (store bought) and a handmade feather hair clip with instructions. What will you wear at your viewing party?
INSTRUCTIONS:
NOTE: If your feathers stick up too much you can use a flat iron or a curling iron to roll them down a bit.
